Felony at 40,000 Feet is a work of fiction. Names, characters,
places, and incidents either are the product of the author's imagination or are
used fictitiously, and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead,
business establishments, events, or locales is entirely coincidental.
Felony at 40,000 Feet is the first of several books about Grant Guidera, who is basically a good person with too many ambitions. He has seen others who didn't deserve to be rich and yet they were: airline presidents who asked their employees to take large pay cuts so the airline could survive, and then retired with millions of dollars to live the good life. Even when they got fired, they left with their golden parachutes intact. In Grant's mind, they didn't deserve either their riches or the respect they demanded. Why shouldn't he get what he can out of life and use the opportunities his airline provides to line his pockets as well? Grant's flexible standards dissolve all too quickly in the high-pressure world of booze, alluring flight attendants, and padded expense accounts. When Grant is tempted into the dangerous game of drug smuggling and human trafficking, his moral compass spins out of control. Will he ever get back to a place where he can once again respect himself and earn the respect of the woman he loves?
